Intended as the headquarters for the well-established daily newspaper, this 20-storey high rise design incorporates sunscreens on the west elevation and other critical sustainable features to mitigate heat island effects. Bold and modern, the design creates a monumental sense of place for the nearly 60-year-old publication. This project won 2nd place in a limited-entry design competition.
